A Hughes OH-6A “Cayuse” (N5185N, 68-17341) owned and operated by Brown Helicopter Incorporated departs the Ferguson Airport (K82J) in Pensacola, Florida, on Thursday, November 11, 2021. 68-17341 was formerly operated by the US Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) as a MH-6B “Little Bird” and then by the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a OH-6A. The aircraft was purchased and reregistered for civilian use by Brown Helicopter Incorporated (BHI) in 2015, and a painstaking restoration was performed to return the aircraft to its original paint scheme and configuration in order to honor its TF160 legacy.
